VCAY fosters cultural pride and communication between the younger generation of Vietnamese within the Australian community. The understanding of one another is key in establishing and maintaining meaningful relationships.  

2. ENCOURAGE

Youth to lead a healthy lifestyle and make safe choices. With workshops such as career pathways, anger and stress management techniques, alcohol awareness group sessions with other people, cooking and fitness class to teach them maintaining a healthy lifestyle and make safe choices, self confidence, self control techniques, advice on making positive life choice. VCAY enables many youth to become moral and ethical adults. 

3. SUPPORT

Youth to maximise their capabilities by providing support in every area possible. Once such area is through career guidance and opportunities. We have tailor workshops to particularly home skills that are essential in the workforce, such as resume writing skills, job readiness skills, career pathways, etc. In turn, the youth will become productive members of our community with the capacity to give back to society. 

4. INSPIRE

We liaises with many notable and reputable Vietnamese community members. These members are a living example of what a person can achieve and be, through hard work, determination and moral compass. In placing youth under the mentoring of such people, VCAY inspired them to plan for their future.

5. BELIEVE

VCAY understands that some life issues can be very daunting and isolating. We provides quality information, referral and advice on their rights and access to justice, instilling within youth the belief that they are not alone and that they are capable of becoming our leaders of tomorrow.
